I’m just not studying.

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

It doesn’t matter. I’m going to pass. If I don’t, I’ll chalk it up as an “L”. (Loss.)

It doesn’t matter tho’. I’m going to pass my exam this coming Tuesday. If it’s by the skin of my pants, I will pass.

Sometime between now and Tuesday, I’ll set up a study strategy. I will pass. If nothing, I have that image of myself clear. The outcome of this exam will be “PASS”.

Yeah, Right.

Um, I really thought I was going to the library on Saturday. It’s two blocks away. I could have walked. I intended to walk. I only started the car, because it was cold. The battery is dieing and I wanted to make sure and start it Saturday to charge the battery.

Well it didn’t start. I came back inside and there was food. Then the car was jump started and I came back inside to eat the food. Then it was 4:18pm. The library closed at 5:00pm and I was sluggish because I was full. Why go then?

In the between time I surfed the areforum to keep my mind on the architectural registration exam. I posted a couple of comments and read through others. I try not to over do it on the forum. (So I also listened to some podcasts from the Architectural League.)

Sunday, well I thought about studying. Really I did. I organized some books. I just didn’t open anything. Maybe I’ll make some progress today. Can’t let a three day weekend go by without a little reading.

What’s Going On?

Last weekend and this past week was a wash. I studied nothing. This week after getting high strung about an estimating project, it turns out I will have more time to complete the job. Friday night I got a good sleep and let go of that work stress.

Now I have a perfect three day weekend to ease into some study. I don’t really want to study, but I do want to become an architect. That would be real sweet. I have no choice but to study. So I’m going to the library.
