This goes out to the former 3.1 architect registration exam test takers out there. This post is to encourage those who probably lost an exam (or 4!) in the transition to the 4.0 exam.
First, you only fail when you give up. Keep putting effort into the exam. You’ve passed a section before and you can do it again. Pick up those books, set aside the time and prepare your mind for the challenge.
Don’t let losing an exam or more keep you from becoming a licensed architect. You’ve had time to recooperate from the invisible blow from fate. (Or NCARB, if you’d rather blame a more tangible entity.)
Don’t make losing any exams in the transition a reason to not complete your exams. It’s not a good enough reason. Don’t find reasons to not take the exam. Find reasons to take the exam. You determine wether you become licensed or not. Take hold of the opportunities ahead and continue testing.
